Celebrate Youth Art Month February 26, 2010
Youth Art Month is a special time of year when educators, community advocates and supporters of art education focus on art in schools. With school budgets continuing to be cut, Youth Art Month is a great way to inform communities about state and Federal funding for art, as well as a way to educate the public about how art benefits a child’s development.
In an article Sarah Sichman wrote for Associatedcontent.com, she addresses issues brought forward during Youth Art Month. To read more please follow this link — it will be worth your time.
